We are perfectly located right off US Highway 101 and offer beautifully renovated cottages along with the only full-hookup RV park close to many parks, hikes, and beaches in the area. Set on 6.7 peaceful acres and surrounded by three creeks, The Heart of the Redwoods is a quality lodging choice for travelers interested in sightseeing and camping in Humboldt County.

Our central location in Redwood, CA places guests near some of the most iconic destinations in Northern California, including Redwood National Park, Prairie Creek State Park, Six Rivers National Forest, and the Yurok Reservation. Outdoor enthusiasts can easily explore Fern Canyon, Gold Bluffs Beach, Elk Meadows, Orick, and the stunning coastline surrounding Freshwater Lagoon, Big Lagoon, Stone Lagoon, and Humboldt Lagoons State Park.

We are an ideal home base for hiking and nature exploration, with convenient access to popular trails such as the Redwood Creek Trailhead and the Tall Trees Grove Trailhead. Guests frequently enjoy wildlife viewing throughout the area, including Roosevelt elk, as well as the many waterways that make Humboldt County such a special destination.

We offer a small RV park and three vacation homes, with more to come. Our cottages are available to rent through Airbnb, VRBO, and Campspot. Our RV sites are designed for convenience and comfort, featuring 70-foot back-in sites with full hookups (water, power, and septic), fire pits, picnic tables, and free Wi-Fi. All guests receive excellent customer service from our on-site hosts and owners.
